Faith United Methodist Church is located on Golden West Avenue in Temple City, California, and is a Chinese-language congregation of the United Methodist Church. The church was officially established on April 9, 2006, and is affiliated with the California-Pacific Annual Conference East District of the United Methodist Church (South). Since its founding, the church has been dedicated to serving the Chinese community in the San Gabriel Valley, offering worship services, Bible studies, Sunday school, and fellowship activities in Chinese, helping believers grow in their faith and build a spiritual family in a foreign land.
In recent years, under the leadership of Pastor Li Zicong, the church has actively expanded its ministries, combining online and offline worship so that more believers can participate. Especially during the pandemic, it provided spiritual support and comfort to congregants.
The church holds its gatherings at 5957 Golden West Avenue in Temple City, sharing the facility with the Temple City First United Methodist Church. Temple City First UMC has been serving the community since 1910, with a long history and deep faith tradition. This shared-resource model not only reflects the unity among Christian churches but also provides a strong foundation for the development of Faith United Methodist Church.
Faith United Methodist Church upholds the motto "Rooted in faith, bound by love," and is committed to establishing a loving and caring faith community in the San Gabriel Valley. We welcome all who seek spiritual growth to join our family.
