7-23-10          “During Rocco's cysto today, the doctor found a very small lesion in the bladder, so he wants Rocco in the hospital to remove the lesion on Monday, Aug. 2.  The doctor was very reassuring that if it is cancer, it is in the earliest stage 1 and I am trusting God and the doctor.. Please keep Rocco in your prayers..God is good all the time..Love ya and miss you all, Elinor” (see 7-22-10)

7-22-10 “Please pray for my daughter's father-in-law, Sam Calvello, who is suffering with prostate cancer that has spread into his bones.  He is 88 years old and is in a lot of pain.  I am putting him into our Savior's hands to ease his pain and bring peace into his heart.  Also, please pray for Sam's wife Jennie, that our Lord will comfort her.  She has dementia and doesn't understand what's happening with her beloved husband..Thank you and God bless you, Elinor”

7-21-10  “Condolences to city of North Miami interim chief of police Stephen Johnson.  While in route to a family event, five members of Chief Johnson’s family were involved in a four-vehicle car accident in Tennessee yesterday (7/20/10).  The Chief’s sister, Lillian Michelle Clarke, and her granddaughter, Catherine Howard, were killed in the crash.  His brother-in-law is hospitalized and in critical condition.  His mother and nephew are hospitalized with injuries and undergoing treatment.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chief Johnson and his family.  April”

7-20-10  “Please keep Ryan and his mother Tracy in your prayers.  The doctors have diagnosed him with granuloma. He has lesions on his spine and neck which is what is causing him the pain.  The doctors are supposed to confirm the biopsy today (they may have found abnormal cells).  Also pray for the father who has just developed Type 2 diabetes. 7-1-10 Please pray for Winnie (83), her granddaughter Sarah (33), and her daughter Geri.  Geri had to admit her mom to an extended care facility for physical problems and dementia.  On the same day she had to admit her daughter, who has Down ’s Syndrome, to the hospital for respiratory problems.  Now Sarah is in a rehab hospital on a ventilator.  Geri is running back and forth between her mom and daughter, while trying to work at Publix at night.  This family needs some big time prayers.  Thank you.  Beth

6-28-10  “Please pray for my friend Jim's two sons, Noah and Andrew.  Noah has been recovering from a brain aneurysm the past couple of months.  He had joined the service and was days away from getting deployed when this happened.  He has had shunts inputted and been in and out of the hospital.  Just this past Friday he was back in the hospital when his brother arrived for a visit and had to be admitted to the same hospital.  Andrew suffers from Chron's Disease and is being evaluated for surgery.  These are young men in their late teens/early twenties.  The family knows how awesome God is and that prayers do get answered.  Thank you, April”

6-25-10  “Please pray for my cousin John, age 75, here in upstate NY.  Tests have revealed that the arteries in his neck are both blocked; one is 100% blocked and the other side is 95% blocked.  The doctors said he has to have surgery right away and it is very risky, but either way, he is at risk of dying suddenly.  No date for surgery has been set yet, but it will be soon.  Also pray that the Holy Spirit touches his heart and opens it up for Jesus to enter and bring him peace, courage, and hope..Thank you and God bless you, Elinor”
